Through a combination of new technologies and strategic alliances Maple Group is providing their clients with a variety of opportunities to not only maintain their current oil production, but in many instances actually increase it!
While oil continues to be discovered in new and untapped reserves throughout the World, those reserves are increasingly being found in more complex geological structures. Deeper water, difficult terrain and more hostile environments are just a few examples of the issues facing the oil and gas industry today; issues that are ultimately contributing to more and more complex operations, an increased need for newer technologies and inevitably higher oil recovery prices.
There are literally thousands of mature wells throughout the world that have been abandoned with significant reserves remaining in place. Many ask, "What is being done to re-enter those wells and extract the remaining resources"? In most cases, not a lot. Around the globe more than 50% of the oil from those mature fields are trapped and never recovered. Pressure and fluid depletion; poor formation porosity, outdated extraction technology, wellbore damage and certain oil qualities, are all underlying issues that can cause the oil to remain trapped in a reservoir. This situation deepens our dependence on foreign source oil and at times creates massive environmental issues.
Maple Group provides new solutions via the SEMJET System and its ability to re-enter those marginal fields and accelerate the extraction of trapped oil. A company that is extremely focused on reversing the global trend in declining oil production.

Enhanced Oil Recovery

Known collectively as "Enhanced Oil Recovery" solutions, Maple Group's main objective is to become a World leader in this field; sourcing a variety of advanced proprietary technologies to work alongside those of their own and thus creating a total EOR solution for their clients. Through a number of strategic alliances and international joint ventures, Maple Group is positioned to offer a full range of complimentary services which will insure seamless operations and offer very impressive results.

From the initial reservoir engineering and well selection stages to fluid compatibility; equipment applications and post-treatment testing; Maple Group provides a very comprehensive System which breathes new life into mature fields while unlocking previously trapped reserves.
