Maple Group was established in 2004 as a recruitment and manpower group to provide specialist personnel to the international oil and gas market. To administer these services, Maple Group International Limited was registered as a BVI company, with an operational office in Singapore.
While continuing to supply skilled labor worldwide to established clients, Maple Group has also developed a regional core business supplying both Senior Management and Field Personnel to regional upstream companies throughout Thailand, Cambodia and Bangladesh.
As the demand for both personnel and technologies continued to grow Maple Group launched a new Thailand office and operations facility; Thailand being chosen not only because of its own need for services, but also due to the increasing numbers of companies locating themselves in Bangkok to oversee operations in neighboring Myanmar, Laos & Cambodia.
In 2005 due to its increasing number of international contacts and staff placements, Maple Group began to receive regular enquiries for rental equipment, services, and for information on any new technologies.
In 2006 Maple Group refined its vision by implementing a core two product line approach, these being recruitment & manpower and sales & marketing. Recruitment & manpower would focus on sourcing of employee placements as well as direct full or part time consultants & lastly, products & services which would encompass regional representation of our principal services and increase the productivity of our own products whilst further improving our high standards in project support for our global clients.
Since 2007, Maple Group has begun the transformation from being an Outsourcing & Support provider, to becoming an oilfield services company able to lead an integrated group of service companies with regional alliances.
Today, Maple’s core focus remains very much the same with the view to introducing further technologies within our products & services.
